Testimony given by Joyce A. Fourth Clemons
School success from an early age is a major factor when it comes to teen pregnancy prevention. Boys and girls who form a strong connection with their schools, who do well in their classes and who learn skills that make them feel capable and competent are much less likely to face teen pregnancy or other negative behaviors in their lives. However achieving this school success from an early age requires “highly qualified,” teachers.
