According to the DC State Department of Health Statistics, the 2008 teen pregnancy rate is 61.4 pregnancies per 1,000 girls, 15 to 19. The teen pregnancy data typically lags 2-3 years behind real time.

What: "For Fathers Only," a free one-hour mini workshop on how to talk with children about love, sex and relationships.
Who: The workshop is presented by DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.
When: Every Thursday in June from 6-7 p.m. at 1112 11th Street, NW, Suite 100.
Why: Since Father's Day is in June, it's the perfect time for fathers to talk with their children about their values and expectations.
