Announcement for DC Campaign's "The DC I'm From" art contest 

Teen pregnancy lies at the root of many problems we face as a community and is linked to school failure, poverty, violence and substance abuse. DC Campaign has created a series of fact sheets that connect teen pregnancy to other issues. To get a thumb nail sketch, read these fact sheets.

• Teen Pregnancy and Alcohol shows the connection between teen alcohol consumption and teen pregnancy
• 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) Comparison for High School shows that DC teens are exhibiting riskier behaviors compared to teens nationally and have shown an increase in three areas since the 2005 YRBS.
• 2005 and 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey Comparison for Middle School shows that middle school students in grades six through eight are exhibiting risky behaviors.
